Dr. Derrell is a chiropractor, educator, and thought leader on a mission to reduce health disparity through healthcare literacy and chiropractic care. In addition to opening a high volume, family practice in the S.F. Bay Area, Dr. Blackburn has spent time as a professor at Life Chiropractic College West teaching Embryology, Social Entrepreneurship and Philosophy. Following his time in the Bay Area he joined The Joint Chiropractic Corp. team as Sr. Manager of Chiropractic, in AZ, and is now the VP of Learning and Development for the Southwest Wellness Group. Along with his experience in chiropractic and entrepreneurship, Dr. Blackburn has served on multiple boards including the St. Rose Hospital Foundation Board, The American Black Chiropractic Association, and the Arizona Association of Chiropractic. Dr. Derrell holds an MBA in Health Administration as well as his Doctor of Chiropractic from Parker University, and currently has a seat on the Alumni Board of Directors.
